FretGenius

Project Case

As part of the Responsive Multi-Device Design (RMDD) Project I completed at the HvA in 2023–2024, I developed the concept for FretGenius, a multi-device guitar learning platform. This project explored creating cross-platform user experiences specifically for musicians.

The aim was to design a platform that supports guitarists throughout their learning and recording journey, using devices like smartphones, laptops, and smartwatches. A key focus was ensuring a consistent, continuous, and complementary (CCC) experience across devices, whether users were practicing, recording, or sharing their work.

FretGenius is a conceptual project that investigates how technology can empower musicians by bridging the gap between devices. While it is not a finished product, it was a valuable opportunity to apply responsive design principles and experiment with creative solutions for multi-device experiences.
